Comparing currencies is a propaganda tool used to delude the ignorant masses. All currencies are currently fiat, and all are rapidly losing purchasing power because of inflation. The rate at which one is losing its purchasing power against another is a mostly meaningless thing to know. However, saying "This currency is strong!" makes people who don't know any better not realize that just means it's losing its purchasing power at a rate not as fast as others are.

Also, pretty much all currencies are being printed into oblivion together, so they're all collapsing at the same time.
