Friend of mine that works at Yamaha told me today that they have a "bunch" of openings. Mostly factory/assembly type jobs and a couple of supervisory & management jobs. From what I've heard pay is equal to or below equivalent jobs at other companies for similar positions but the benefits are much better. Apparently they think you will want to work there because it's "Yamaha."
For the factory jobs they run everyone through a temp service resource manufacturing http://www.resourcemfg.com/locations/newnan,-georgia.aspx before you become a permanent employee. Like most big companies you have to pass a drug screen and background check also.
The supervisor/management jobs are listed on monster. He said that if you have welding or painting experience to make sure it's highlighted on your application/resume.
