WWII Scale model’s

Very well done, the details are stunning. Is this a kit? I have a WW2 C-47 kit that I've been wanting to build ever since I first jumped out of one several years ago. One of these days I'll get around to it...

The tank is a kit, the panzerturm is a turret from another kit and I scratch built the casemate for it out of sheet styrene. Textured it like steel plate and cut the turret ring in. I built the base out of balsa wood.

I've been weathering a model all day. Another big Star Wars model. I love some WWII models but I'm building what people will buy.

I'm still working on my 1/35 Steyr RSO and it's waiting in my display case on a generic base. It still needs a coat of flat clear. Those Nazis are way too shiny. I don't usually do figures but they were included with the kit.

Painting and weathering takes the most time for me also. I spent over a week painting and weathering the Panzer IV. But I painted and stripped the side skirts 7 times to get them right. OCD sucks...

I built up a little base to make a small vignette. Stand alone pieces look great but some scenery gives em’ some sense of scale. Working on the next project now. I have an ak receiver enroute to my ffl so I may try to build it up, if I’m not able back to welding up plastic.

Very nice, Ive never been able to quite get a handle on the color mixing and blending and dry brushing to get the color i want but still enjoy the modeling

After I base coat everything with acrylic I switch to artist oil paints for everything else. Super easy to blend, mix colors and a long drying time. I mix them with a few drops of enamel thinner. Any mistakes can be cleaned up with straight thinner.
