Woodsmans Pal?

The tip of this tool will get dull fast, from chopping at the base of trees, bushes, and vines where they come out of the ground. Maybe the factory didn't sharpen the last 1.5" of the blade just so that you wouldn't feel compelled to sharpen it after every hour of use.
But, I say sharpen the whole thing, use it as you must, chop the ground if that's the best way to clear your path, and if you hit rocks, so be it. Have a file handy and touch it up right there in the woods. At night, touch it to a belt sander and really make it sharp (fast and easy).
