With practice ammo hard to come by, what are you practicing?

Stage your handgun with one round in the mag and full mag ready for reload. Draw from concealment, single face shot, reload, and holster. Swap full mag for empty mag and do it again. Lots of reps for several skills with minimal ammo consumption. I’ll up the round count to failure drill after several reps of single face shots.

Add in a shot timer for maximum fun.

I am fortunate enough to have my own range area. I don’t do public ranges. Too many scary shooters in tight quarters.

Our local range is under renovation. But I had been using a CMMG bolt which came with 3 modified magazines to shoot .22LR instead of the precious .223.
