In times past before automobiles when a person walked,rowed,or road a horse to their destination.....you had to be hardy as life demanded it from you daily.It just made me think that this wouldnt have been a bad way to travel and the miles 2 men could rack up was rather impressive.Love the idea of this for good exercise.

Rowed a canoe with a buddy and had two of his buddies follow us in another canoe from the Boundary Waters in the US over into Quietco Provincial Park in Canada many years ago. Rowing(paddling) in those lakes early morning and evening was easy stuff. We did have a close call with nearly going over a 40 drop water fall the first day. But hey, that's why you go out to those places lmao.
