What's your favorite fried chicken joint?

Carter Burgers in Cordele,Ga. Best Chicken around here. Second is the Fast Stop ,but I am not allowed back there. They have a no firearms policy.

The one in Ashburn is way better. I wouldn't eat at the Cordele location again if you paid me.

I haven't been in over 20 years, but Buckner's on I-75 near Griffin used to have really good fried chicken. I think it's on Exit 201, but I may be off by an exit, either way its somewhere in that vicinity.

Gotta agree with those that say Gus's!!
The one on South Front St. In Memohis is the best... (There are two other locations in Memphis but not as good and one in Little Rock as well)
Nashville's "Hot Chicken" style joints would require another thread entirely!

While the wife was still living, we went to Matthew's Cafeteria, Main Street, Tucker, GA at least once a week. I moved after the wife passed away; so I haven't been there in twelve years. I looked it up on the Interweb; and it is apparently still thriving and getting good reviews. Not only was the fried chicken great, but the sides and deserts were southern country cookin' delicious.

Bo Jangles or Popeyes are always pretty good. Oldmill in Pigeon Forge is Good. But the misses make pretty darn good fried chic too.
