Dillard house has some great home cooking! That's where my extra 40 pounds came from. We go there several times a years.

Glad to hear they're still open. Went there as a kid 40 years ago. That should say something that they're still open.

Best fried chicken I ever had was my mothers, but she passed away about 15 years ago. She always fixed fried chicken, biscuits, gravy, green beans and banana pudding. Never found any chicken to compare.

Bea's restaurant in East Ridge/Chattanooga area is awesome. Just don't show up Sunday after church if you're not willing to wait for a seat. Plus it's all you can eat.
