I'll second that. Publix makes one pretty good fried yardbird...

Chick-Fil-a!

Actually Cracker Barrel has really good fried chicken on Sundays. It's the daily special. Good stuff. Reminds me of what my wife's grandma used to make.

There still is one Mrs. Winners open that I know of. It's on Glenwood Rd. just inside the perimeter. Last time I tried it it was pretty bad.

Around town Zestos on Moreland Avenue @ Confederate Ave. has a pretty good bird.

Dillard house has some great home cooking! That's where my extra 40 pounds came from. We go there several times a years.
