Yeah, their lists, and some lists on here are night and day...
All you have to do is pay attention to history. You'll start prepping.
They prep for minor disruptions. We prep for major ones.
My doomsday "get your guns" scenario is that President Bloomberg
bans the sale of Ben & Jerry's ice cream, which forces me to try to make it myself.
But, lacking the skills, I have to go out into the field kidnapping dairy farmers,
chemists, mechanical engineers, metal fabricators, and plumbers.
I will assemble these people on my thousand-acre ranch
and put them to work in an underground lair carved into the granite
200 feet underground. There, we will recreate Ben & Jerry's,
and after I've eaten my fill, I will create an ice cream distribution ring
and supply the black market with all the artery-clogging, belly-fattening
frozen treats that Americans want.
Of course I'll need a bunch of guns to defend my headquarters,
and to arm the many (disposable) henchmen I'll have guarding it.
We have enough for 3 mos. My generator will run on gas and we have a convert pkg that i can put on easily and it will run on LP & natural gas. I have about 30 gals gas on hand and i keep the stabil in it and rotate it out every couple months. Plus i have 10LP tanks full.

Mormons are staunch believers of preparedness. They have pretty good guidelines.
