What y’all cooking for Christmas dinner?

I paid 6.99 at the kroger in gainesville. I wanted to use my local market but that joker tried to charge me 15.99 a pound.

5.49 is dirt cheap
At Publix in Albany, $5.99 is less than half price. Problem is that the Albany area Publix stores used to be part of the Atlanta area but I guess that has changed.

Home grown sweet potatoes, some steamed veggies, the prime rib, and blueberry muffins using berries we grew.

Damnit! All this talk of prime rib, now my family wants PR instead of turkey. I guess I’ll do prime rib now. I’m thinking a course sea salt rub, then pan searing it on all sides in a cast iron skillet, then slowing cooking it in the oven until it’s a perfect rare, medium rare.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

oh, and my English heritage MIL wants that Yorkshire pudding posted on here.
