What Rifle are you taking on opening day

My Slug Barreled, scoped, 12 ga. Browning A5 that I bought almost 50 years ago. Hit any deer anywhere and they're down. I'm too old to be chasing them all over the map.

Well I'd start with ML season. That said, my trusty stainless Remington Model 700ML in 50cal with a 44 sabot 240gr SFP with iron sights. Lots of times I get the meat needed and I'm done hunting for the year. If not, stainless 257wby with a Redfield 4-12x40mm. I use a 120gr spire tip. Usually drops them in their tracks. The farthest one has run is @30yds.

Cooper Excaliber in 257 Roberts with Steiner 2.5x10. Same rifle I use every opening day since my divorce. It was my parting gift to myself! LOL

Ruger All American in 450 Bushmaster. Purchased to hunt here around our cabin for thick woods and short range. I like it much more than I thought I would. Nice little rifle for money spent.

Remington 700 in 270. That's my baby. Also this will be the first year I'll skip opening weekend. After shooting my target buck yesterday I'm gonna wait till the end of the month before I get back out there
