Traded into this old Rossi snub a few months back. Gotta say it's the nicest cleanest snub I own. But it came with some later model Taurus/Rossi wood grips that were way too big. I can't find a model number on it anywhere. It does have the old style firing pin on the hammer and old style cylinder latch. I like the smaller grips on it now but they are really loose. Got them on ebay a few months ago. They fit but they don't fit, you know?
Anyway, it reads Amadeo Rossi on the left side of the barrel with something in Spanish under that. It has " 38 Special" on the right side. It must be pretty old since their is no Interarms marking on it anywhere. I just wanted to identify the model number so maybe I can get the right grips next time. These grips were supposedly for an M68 but they don't really work.

Any input is appreciated.

check under grips for an import Mark as well...
Interams Corp. imported Rossi from 1978 to 1996. Garcia Firearms imported some models from 1969 to 1978 and Firearms International imported certain models during the 1960's (records seem to indicate 1962 to 1969).
