Coon hunting. It was a family affair. Grandpa, my dad and several uncles.

Depression days so small things were important --
about 3-4 years old getting a ham sandwich and piece of pumpkin pie at a CCC camp in northern california --
5-6 age riding the Kalakakawan, a very unusual looking ferry running from seattle to hremerton --
Best was oct 1946 when my dad returned from china and wwii ---

When my dad tossed me the key to his fairly new truck, and said "Meet me out at the ranch in an hour." He was moving the tractor and a plow, the ranch was 10 miles away, and I was 10 years old. I got there without a problem.

Going to Super D on the square in Lawrenceville with my grandpa every Saturday for a new toy and a slaw dog. Man they had the best in town.

Many , many , many. Was poor but had an excellent childhood anyway. I guess what sticks out the most , is losing my virginity to the big boobed farm girl neighbor !
