I prefer CFE Pistol, but will use Titegroup in a pinch. When you start with rifle, you're truly enjoy resizing, measuring, trimming, deburring and chamfering... and let's not forget the crimp in the primer pocket... all before you can drop a single grain of powder. Also don't forget to actually CHECK for stretch marks and cracks...

Always been a bit partial to Red Dot and Unique. Lately though been using "Promo", 8lb jugs.
Bullseye, accurate #9.. bullseye because I came across about 30 lbs in my travels about 20 yrs ago, I have 9 lbs left, and I like accurate powders.
Bullseye. It’s what my dad taught me on… it works for all my plinking loads. The smell of it reminds me of my childhood and good times with my old man.
It's funny how a smell can bring back a rush of memories...good stuff!

Just burned a bit of Bullseye with my son yesterday. I like that powder too.
700x for .45 has always given the best accuracy for me with hand cast bullets. Silhouette is the only powder I use for .40. It is amazing with bullets from 135 to 165 gr. Pretty much just use 231 or titegroup for .38 and 9mm at this point. During a powder shortage years ago I developed a load using titewad for .32 acp that worked so well that's all I use for it anymore.
I ended up snagging a bunch of Power Pistol and Bullseye because it was in stock and has data for all of my handgun calibers.
