Depends on how tight the pistol itself shoots.
My wee little PT709 shoot far more accurately that its 3" barrel deserves. 2" groups @ 15'. With the stock sights. Zero stoppages. I can understand someone wanting a different sight set up they are used to. Even on a cheapo Taurus.
