OK, not much of a mystery on this one but I'll share the pics anyway.

I wanted to knock the primers out of some 50 bmg so I printed a little base to hold the case and a plastic rod as the depriming pin. 2mm hole in the end of the rod, glued in a length of 2mm A2 steel rod to serve as the pin proper. Then, tapped it out with a hammer. Easy peasy.

You can also do the same with water. Make the punch just under the size of the shell mouth. Fill the case with water and tap the punch in there. Use your base so the primer can back out. The pressure has to go somewhere. Used mostly for berdan primers.

Maybe you can 3D print an adjustable bullet seater die next, just like the Lee Classic Loaders. Or even a whole set, the shotshell version may be doable.
