What have you reloaded today?

Got to play around with some 45 acp and 38 spcl load development last night.

I’m using some old red dot powder I had laying around... makes pretty good groups but it smokes like black powder when pushing a 158 hard cast swc out of the 38!

Well crap, I ruined 2 pieces of brass out of 960 loaded! Did development for some Berry's 147gr RN Subsonic 1,080fps avg. with Power pistol. I sorted brass for consistency of internal volume and this chosen load string/charge weight yielded a 13fps SD.. Shot 2 1/2" @ 25yd.. Should be fun for my buddy and his cans.

Damn near took as long to put together the little video showing that an older Lyman turret can keep up with the progressives!
I Love my little Franken Bullet feeder, I just wish I could get it to run non-beveled base cast boolits..

I am working on 9mm today and sorting a small bucket of 9. It has 380 and military crimped 9 in it. Using my new Range Panda chute.

Ran into another MAXXtech 9 mm case. Stopped me cold. I am glad they won’t go into a 9mm die.

Done with 969 7.6Pews and 962 147gr Subs (Shown the other Day)

A few things to mention, the RCBS Quick change powder drop on the Hornady Case Activated linkage is freakin` awesome! Every charge I checked was dead on.. Also I'm using some old skool Lee 7.62x39 Dies, the ones that came in the cylinder die case, I got them from someone on here a few years back for like $20 mailed if I recall correctly.. they had really bad surface rust which I cleaned off with a good soak and wire brush.. The damn things turn out loaded ammo that my Sinclair Concentrically gauge can't find a variation in literally almost every round. The bullet seater is dead on (so long as the projectile variations aren't that great, the PPU PSP's suck..), I'm just stoked that such old and seemingly crappy looking dies turn out amazing ammo.

This is now 4 of the 5 boxes (probably 15,000+ pieces) of brass from American Reloading.. All primed .223/5.56. It's insane how so many of them are literally tiny cosmetic dents here or there. A lot of them actually fully case gauge. Last box should be in tomorrow. Gotta go through and get all of the actual scrap, deprime them, sort for bad case necks for converting, and of course any 300blk that is already made and see if it is any good. This is going to be an insane amount of work, but I look forward to it.. In the end I should get all of the primers for free, all of the brass I can want, and money in my pocket.

Oh and the carpet.. it's already F***ed.. It's a rental, 7yrs. Landlord is selling it and I'm out Sept. 1st.

Doing case prep on three new calibers for me to reload: 38 Special/357 Magnum, 45 Colt and 45-70.

De-primed and cleaned. Now I need to set up the dies, resize, trim, prime, powder and bullet seat.

After these I will try my first 5.7x28. I need to get some 30 carbine bullets and the 7.62x39.

Still need to get bullets for 7.5 Swiss and 7.65 Mauser for my C96.
