What have you been reading?

I lost interest with him. He is more about making a killing on the TV series. His style of killing off so many main characters after you got invested in them pissed me off.

First rule of reading “A Song of Ice and Fire.” Don’t fall in love with a character.

Bought and completed "Kidnapped by the Taliban" by Dilip Joseph, MD yesterday. Was a decent and easy read (210 pages). It's a good story and has some uplifting religious stuff. Guy used the term "assault rifle" at nausium instead of just saying AK-47 so that got annoying. Id give it a 6.1/10

I’m now almost done with What Jesus Demands From the World by John Piper but it will most likely be an immediate re-read.

I started Robert E. Lee on Leadership : Executive Lessons in Character, Courage, and Vision but I’ve stalled due to time constraints.

On deck is A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking.

Read in the last two months:

"Shotluck" by Jeff Cooper

"Triggered" by Donald Trump Jr.

"Star Wars: Master and Apprentice" by Claudia Gray

Next up:
"Handguns Afield" by Jeff Cooper

"Dark Tower pt. 3, The Waste Lands" by Stephen King.

I finished out the Dark Tower series, you were 100% correct about the ending.

"I am Roland of Gilead, and I come as myself!
You will open to me!"[/QUOTE]

“The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed.” - this hooked me on the first book so many years ago, it still puts such a vivid image to my mind’s eye.
