I just finished the first of Larry Correia's "Monster Hunter International" books and I went out and bought the second one last night.

It was pretty well written with a decent plot-line, lots of cool guns, and a kind of different take on monsters in general.

On the downside the characters are a bit one dimensional, but that's the hardest thing for a new writer, and I've heard that gets better farther into the series.

Over all it was a fun book to read, not too deep but really enjoyable. These would actually make a decent TV show, except of course they are full of good guys with guns, they are politically uncorrect, and they ridicule the government mercelicessly. Er, never mind...

I love this series! I’m on the 3rd book now. Super fun to read and fast paced, basically the book equivalent to an action movie. I highly recommend this series to anyone on here, check em out you won’t be disappointed!

I lost interest with him. He is more about making a killing on the TV series. His style of killing off so many main characters after you got invested in them pissed me off.
