Buy a Gee minnow trap tie a string on it toss it in the water , I never bait the trap they just flock to it seems crazy but it works I have ben doing it for years.

First time on the river with a fly rod, last Sunday.

White Chimney river is across the street from my house. We haven't had any of the rain that N Ga has been getting this week. Sunny, dry, and warm. We have been catching speckled trout and redfish across the street using live shrimp. It's right in the bend of the river and it's a nice deep hole. The fish stack up in there this time of year.

been a few weeks for me. I am ready for spring fishing, I am also ready to go to Lake Champlain to fish, I go every summer. My Lord what a fishery.

This is my oldest with a big speck he caught with a fly rod, which is on his shoulder.

We took off time for deer season but last weekend my son was yard fishing. Ready to hit a friends pond. It’s almost too easy. I have to take him other places so he understands there are times the fish don’t bite.

I have a project in Wisconsin at the end of May. I've been reading about the smallmouth fishing in the area and I can't wait. I have already been calling guides to set up a trip. If I take a customer, I can expense it!
