Weird crap grandpa's thinking about...

are all washer/dryer setups...and laundry rooms generally....washer on the left and dryer on the right?? Got to thinking about all I have had, and they are all this way. Is this a 'Merican thang?? Just the opposite in other countries?

You young whippersnappers look what you got to look forward to...the whole damn world is going to hell, thousands gonna die, and that old drooling bastard is thinking about something this eff'in stupid.

But, I would still like to know.

You must be a leftist

Nope. My washer is on the right, due to the layout of the small utility room.

Mine too.

Washer on the right always.

On the right.

House I grew up in, in the 50's, washer...wringer Maytag...in the basement, no dryer, hung clothes on lines to dry in basement in the winter, outside on clothes line in summer.
Folks got a "modern" washer dryer later and it was washer on left. Every house since has been washer on left. I was just wondering. Like hot water on left, cold on right. Old plumbers code or something.
