Weights of different stripped AR upper receivers

I got bored and weighed some stripped upper receivers I had in my shop. Mainly, I was curious how the Hodge AU-MOD 2 C405 weighed compared to milspec 7075-T6 offerings.

Early SOLGW 7.0oz

New Hodge AU-MOD 2 7.8oz

These are made from C405 aluminum, which I have been told is lighter than 7075-T6, with the same or greater strength. Hodge beefed the receiver up in critical areas, which is shown by the slightly greater weight.
