As stated by Ben Franklin, now is the time for us America loving gun owners to stick with one another.
It seems likely that an Executive Order will be passed by our president, and speculations on the contents include requiring semi automatic rifles to be placed under the NFA, requiring registration.
This would overcome a couple obstacles:
This also puts the patriotic American in a different situation than if it were a FLEa knocking on their door. We wouldn't immediately know hoe many other Americans caved in, and would be less willing to hide our guns, refuse registration, hoping things got better- like was done in 1968 after the GCA.
so, I post today telling people, the only way this can be resisted is if we stick together, refuse registration. They cannot arrest and house 10,000,000 new felons, much less 100,000,000.
Be willing to stand. Be willing to fight.
This will lead to total registration if not resisted.

- It would take the pressure off of law enforcement, being expected/required to seize weapons
- It would begin a massive registration of firearms (who has a semi auto, but no other guns?)
- It requires the registration of guns that are out of the network (private sales guns, which were the basis under which this site started)
- It would represent billions of dollars going to federal coffers
