that's the best right there isn't it.
I have a ten year old boy. We fish in the back yard creek. He is catching fish and de-hooking on his own now. LOVE IT.
Oh...let's talk about driving. Can ride a 4 wheeler like a pro. Been riding since he was 3. He has stepped up to driving my Jeep Cherokee at the hunt club. 100% on his own. It's awesome, isn't it. Teach them young and how to respect equipment and it pays off.....!!!

Great time so far, tomorrow I take him to shoot for the first time!! We are both super excited!!

WOW.. just saw this today.
This is how we pass on to the kids our skills.

A little target practice tomorrow morning then back to the ponds. We have 4 to fish at and they are on fire here!!

It comes to my memories when I was teaching, one of my sons, how to drive manual or stick shift cars. A lot of “Oh... Oh...Becarefull”.... still these days he remembers.
