Waders question

So I decided to get me a set of waders for duck hunting. Never needed them before last year. So I ordered a set online. Ducks Unlimited brand, 1600 gram thinsulate, neoprene with boots. I’m either missing something on sizing or something. I wear Lacrosse boots for deer hunting with the neoprene uppers and I wear a 10. Regular boots, shoes I wear a 10.5. I seen online in the reviews that these run a little big. I ordered 2 pair size 9 cause my son and I wear same size. I can kick these things off by shaking my foot. Two pair of wool socks and they are still way to big. Checked sizes on both and they are the same. Both have 9 stamped on bottom of boot. Trying to decide how to reorder another pair.

How are these normally sized?
Do all brands have this issue?
How do you guys order by size?

I have Drake eqwaders and they are 11s and my normal boot size is 11.5 and those fit perfect. I think all waders are made big but maybe that brand runs really big

I've never had that issue but also never had that brand. DU presumably isn't making these so would be curious who does.

Yeah I would assume a half to 1 full size but these are huge. Can’t find any info on who made them for DU. They only have Mossy oak and DU tags on them.

So from what I gather most waders run true to size within a half size? Maybe I send these back and swap for a different brand instead of different size. Just never owning a pair. I wasn’t sure if this was normal and I needed to order a couple sizes down or not.

Yep, It's ridiculous everything is made in China nowadays including most of our politicians.
