The boned poultry.
Never could eat the turkey loaf, too reminiscent of the omelet with ham. Didn't like ham, it smelled funny and reminded me of that omelet with ham also.
German Metzgerei for the win.

The Navy always put on a big traditional Thanksgiving spread so no eating from a box or pouch.

I loved it, as long as I had heat tabs to cook it. I never met a MRE, I didn't like!
Used to go TDY 50% in the early 70s and we'd buy surplused C-Rats to eat so we could make a little cash on per diem from the travel expenses allowed for meals. Once we got hold of some K-rations - quite a different fare....
