So, just take the tag to the tax commissioner's office and tell him to stick it up his ass sideways?

There's a form you have to fill out to cancel the registration, it's on line.

It can legally be back dated, in the sense that you state that the vehicle was inoperable on a certain date, and has been inoperable since that date.

My taxes are due Nov. 9 so it's not enough to worry about but good to know.

Can I just turn in my tag? The ass pirates in Macon/Bibb say my car is worth $1,680. Edmunds says $750. Both are wrong as the transmission is toast. Car is almost valueless. I want to drop it from insurance and do not want to pay AV tax to keep registration current if I'm not driving it. Can't I simply keep it backed into my garage and turn in the tag if I do not move it? At least until I decide to fix the tranny?

Fix the Tranny? I would call either Kaitlyn Jenner or @ItBeMe ?
