Anyone have opinions on either of these packs?

Talking about a pack for day hiking and possible get home bag. I'm looking for whatever has the most flexibility in application and has excellent durability. Already have the US Military MOLLE II Medium Rucksack.

I dont know about the quality of the army bag so i wont comment there. I have some condor items and i find their imported quality, read china, a little cheap to me. I would look into most american made bags, eagle/camelback/spec ops. Especially companies with a great warranty. Ruck bags take a lot of abuse, especially in the straps area, and i would not trust all my "safety s**t" in my bag to fault prone, cheap components. Thats a damn good price on the bag linked below....

How ya doing brothersinarms1? Hope things are going well. See your posts on occasion. Hope the power equipment repair business is booming.

You've sold me. That is a killer deal. I believe I'll sell the Condor pack on CL. Don't expect anyone on ODT would want it. Only problem is it appears they don't have any MultiCam left. And I know how you like MultiCam.

Look around for the multicam bag from spec ops...i saw it on amazon i believe for around $170...lifetime warranty. There are two variants tho...their 10 year old version, and their newest one, a few more pockets internally on the newer one, same price for both if you search around. Hope your fine also.

Didn't see material on the military bag....unless I missed it.

The Condor is 1000d. I had the Condor II as a range bag for awhile till I upgraded to a Eberlestock. Nice bag though. No complaints besides not enough space to hold all my needed stuff.

I keep thinking hurricane Katrina and how the cops seem to gravitate towards nazi like soldier tactics during times of emergency and public crisis.
Therefore any bag I use will not be camouflage and scream "guns" so as not to attract attention to joe and Billy Bob badge.
