Referenced earlier on another post is the usefulness of salt and sugar. Their uses vary considerably yet are super cheap in bulk. Other examples include white vinegar, bleach, various alcohols and such. What are your thoughts? Any preps to add?

A good manual can opener that will open cans with bent rims along with a spare.
A.small bottle of iodine can provide you with a huge amount of safe water and an essential element
Toilet paper

Actual testing, knowledge and experience with gear and skills.
Knowledge is probably a resource that outdoes all others.
I dig iodine and cash on hand. Iodine is a trace element necessary for proper bodily function. And cash on hand is something most people neglect. Cash will still likely be very relevant for the first week or two after the great big slide.
