Looking for some good MilSurp information here.

A friend of mine has asked me to find out how much her Walther PP is worth.
From the serial number I'm estimating that it was made in mid 1944 to 1945.
It has an Eagle N stamp on it next to the serial number and on the part of the pistol where the barrel meets the frame. There's an Eagle N stamp on the slide.
There is a "65" and an antler stamped into the frame.
Below the magazine release is a stamp that looks like a banner with an "X" stamped over it.
The finish is in nearly new condition. I don't see any blemishes at all.

Edited to add:

The gun has 6 magazines. All except one are made in France at the Manhurin factory
The stand out doesn't say where it's made, it just says Walther and has the caliber stamped on it.
My guess is that's the original magazine.

Well, no military mark's by the look of it. Not sure what the cancelled stamp is. Post war assembly ? Possibly commercial proof mark's if I remember rightly.

I think you are right about the post war assembly. I don't know when Walther moved to Manhurin.
