You really could just look it up, but you'd rather argue than admit the truth. There's been hundreds of Trump supporters caught on video attacking people. There are videos at Trump rallies of his supporters spitting on, kicking, and punching people. Are you really going to act like hate crimes haven't exponentially increased since Trump ran for office?

Remember the ‘knock out game’? Black men would randomly throw a devastating punch. With the victim (usually white) oblivious to the attack till they got hammered?

They finally found someone to charge with a hate crime. Yeah, he was white.

All the black folks who did this to whites? No not a hate crime!

You can literally look up videos of white people doing the same exact thing. Nice try though.

Feel free to read THE LIST I posted above. See, ya'll love to talk instead of researching. White perpetrated hate crimes have drastically risen since 2016, which hit a 16 year high. If you want to comment at least do the intelligent thing and research first. Otherwise you just prove your IQ matches a can of tuna.

So let's consult DOJ stats from 2019. Feel free to look up the last 4 years and you'll see the same trend. In fact, look up the last 80 years and you'll see white people commit between 70-87% of the reported hate crimes per year. But keep on acting like Trump supporters haven't been all over the news (for months) assaulting people.

Among the 8,552 hate crime offenses reported:

• Crimes against persons: 64.4%
• Crimes against property: 32.8%
• Crimes against society: 2.8%

Of the 6,406 known offenders:

• 52.5% were White
• 23.9% were Black or African American
• 14.6% race unknown

*Other races accounted for the remaining known offenders.

Of the 5,443 known offenders for whom ethnicity was reported:

• 33.1% were Not Hispanic or Latino
• 10% were Hispanic or Latino
• 1.9% were in a group of multiple ethnicities

Of the 5,599 known offenders for whom ages were known:

• 84.6% were 18 years of age or older

That's interesting, thanks. Going by the DOJ hate crimes reports "or other grounds" refers to disability and gender identity. I can't find any hate crime cases in which the motive is political affiliation.

I've been reading on the topic and according to law there's no inclusion of political affiliation but it isn't excluded either. Reason being, the law considers political views fluid and isn't something that's readily apparent (arguably). For example: I could be standing next to a Hillary supporter and not know it. But I could stand next to a white person or a Mexican and know it. One could argue that wearing a MAGA hat or Biden shirt negates that point.
