Did I just commit a cardinal sin by placing a Tri-lug adapter on my Henry X? I just got tired of using a strap wrench take of the mount after a box of ammo. Anyone ever have an issue doing this?

You using this with a suppressor right? What caliber is the Henry? 3 lugs should only be used with pistol caliber muzzle pressure, they are a no go on calibers of rifle pressure. Assume your shooting son 38 spl or something.

I have been wanting to do a lever gun for soooo long. I use 3 lugs on all my 9mm carbines and SBR's so I can swap out cans easily. You should be good to go for pistol calibers.
