Trail camera

So I set my trail camera up the other day and went to check it this evening and it showed the same amount of pics as when I put it in the other day. So I was thinking I guess nothing came through, but I stood in front of it and the infrared light blinks but it doesn’t take any pics. I’m pissed, it’s a little over a year old and already ****ed up. I want to know what’s a good brand that will last awhile, even if it doesn’t take the best of pics. I would rather have one that last longer than a damn year.

Check the “lock” on your sd cards. Make sure it’s not on lock. Are they formmated?

Yes I checked to make sure none of them were locked and yes they are formatted. I got pics on the sd cards last year.

I have several brands most not expensive and all have worked for a couple of years (so far)

What kind is it? I just want to buy one that will last awhile. Mine was a wild game innovations

Check the website for updates, and if it has one update it. If there are no updates just try and set it back to the original settings. Sometimes that will get it working again.

Personally I just stick to the $100 - $150 Bushnells. They usually last 3 - 5 years, and they are good about honoring the warranty if one does break early.
