Uhhh....when I say plastic? I mean I can BEND THE WINDLASS WITH ONLY THUMB PRESSURE. They may be fine for training but if somebody needs one here, I want them to have a windlass that won't easily bend/break.
I know there are plastics that are super strong. It's a disposable item. I get it.
The last set of 2 I received from Amazon were something like "Happy Uncle" brand with a note inside that reads, "Thanky for purchase very good equipment" with a bunch of ching-chong Chinese characters to the left. Probably translates to "Hah hah! Die Yankee pig dog!"

The N.A.R. seem to be around. I'll try some of them. I have to keep 8 kits maintained.
It gets expensive quick. I have found rotating the re supply ( having expired products expire on different years) the best way to minimize cost.
Good news is though, usually buying for 8 kits Triggers a discount online some times.
Also, Galls has a wear house in Atlanta, so shipping is quicker then expected.
Honest question, do these have an expiration date? Wife was given an Amazon Credit for her Christmas bonus this year.
They have a date on them. Usually 4 years or so if memory serves.
