Too much Pizza?

Think taco ;)
rather not think taco.
Seen an awful lot of taco reference
and kidding here in ODT over the years
but never seen/heard explanation of
it's origins or secret inuendo (if any).
One time ordered a taco at a local
Mexican eatery expecting the typical
1/2 moon shaped hard shell crammed
with meat, cheese, letus, tomato, etc.
Instead got a soft rolled up thingy.
Tasted okay but did cornfuse my brain
further on what a taco is and what it isn't.
One thing I noticed with tacos is nobody
ever asks "you want fries with that?"
Hope I don't get in big trubble for talking
taco in a pizza thread

Must have been a real Mexican restaurant. The hard shell taco thing is more of an American food.

And Last nights dinner. Freschetta w/ extra Goodies!
NO Pineapple!

We ate at Salt in Woodstock last Saturday and had a pizza with………shrimp on it.

The first bite was different, but after that, it was really good. I know it sounds disgusting, but it really wasn’t.
Ate at a Pizza Hut in Brunswick many years ago, ordered their shrimp and lobster pizza.
Called the manager out on it being crab, not lobster, got it free.
And yes, it was different, but very good.
Now that I’m back down here, I’ll have to see if anyone offers it.

I don't think they have a seafood pizza but Sal's Pizzeria in St Simons is as good as any I've ever had and Sal is a character unto himself and he loves entertaining his guests.
