Yes. I read on a couple forums that some had the holes welded and refinished. Not the route I want to go.

Yeah I wouldn't wanna have it welded either. But it seems like if you looked around at enough hardware stores and machine shops you could find a plug in the correct diameter and I guess Loc Tite it in there.
