Tired of eating Teflon

Haunt yard sales and especially estate sales. A 50 year old skillet won't need any smoothing or seasoning. And cast iron is usually ridiculously cheap at one of these.

I start buying the little corn bread corn stick pans. Got 8 of them. Was cleaning them up one day and notice no two of them are the same. There is a difference in the size or pattern of each one.

Tru dat. Of course, you need to be careful. Back in the day, my Dad and I would use the corn stick CI pans to mold our lead ingots after we got our lead/tin/antimony mix correct.

Years later, I think we sold our old corn stick CI pans in a yard or estate sale....
