Anybody know about silver turtles? Beef, potatoes, onions, carrots etc wrapped up in aluminum foil and cooked in a camp fire. Kinda like a camping pot roast.

Also one of the guys on Best Defense Survival made a solar oven out of it. I kinda questioned it, but he had a thermometer attached and said it got pretty warm (can't remember the exact temp), but he mentioned hot enough to boil water.......so at least 212. I might have to make one one day to try it out.

What's funny is I remember my mother using some when I was little. It actually was tin. She left it in the sink and it started rusting or got rust on it. I asked her (i was around 8 years old) and she said it was old tin foil she had gotten from my grandma. it must have been real old...lol.
