Combination soaking it, then I put it in the freezer for a short time, then heat.
Was still hard but finally came loose.

I’m glad you got it apart, I think it was a combination of being too tight in the first place and threads loaded up with carbon.

Some of the Range Safety officers at your local DNR shooting range may know of local gunsmiths. Where I am, one of the RSOs is a gunsmith who I use for triggers.
