They eat as good if not better than Reds and trout. If you ever get a chance to fish 10,000 Islands inshore, and permit do it. It’s a trip of a lifetime. The Reds, Snook, Trout, Tripletail, And Sheepshead are plentiful, and there is no place like it on Earth!

By far my favorite inshore fishery I’ve ever had the pleasure of fishing, and I’ve had the pleasure of fishing Sebastian Inlet all the way north to Savannah on the East Coast, and from Venice all the way to Tampa on the Gulf Coast. One of the many perks of being in sales, and having to entertain clients.

The trip I’ve yet to do is a Keys trip, and that’s a bucket list trip. Maybe I can talk a client into wanting to go soon.

That bream looks huge!

I’ve tried to explain to them that it’s not every day and every pond you can catch a bream that you thumb their lips. They are lots of fun on an ultra light rig

Awesome! I love Amelia Island and have done some great fishing there.
