Thoughts on marriage counseling with someone who’s never been married?

Not me of course! But another member! Court ordered counseling before he can be divorced but the counselor has never been married ! WTF ! How can this be done? WTF! And to add insult to injury, after 30 years of marriage and three children she’s decided she’s a lesbian ! WTF

Sounds like she needs a psychologist, not a marriage counselor.
I've never heard of court ordered counseling. Why would the judge deny her her right to her current psychosis? Very un PC of him.
To answer your question, I'm sure there are many competent marriage counselors that have never been married. But no, wouldn't be my first choice.
