Heard about Kroil and heard about Kroil.

Then tried Kroil!!! Some good stuff that works.

Electrolysis cleaning will do most of the work for you.

After that just sand down the pitting till it's smooth, then polish and blue.

Get a gallon of evaporust and soak it overnight.
You'll be very surprised.

Brought a Steven's 1898 back from the grave 19 years ago. Kroll soaked for a week, metallic sand paper, then non chinese steel wool.
Ended up using metallic header paint on it. Still used as a Turkey gun to this day.
