It seems that Hollywood has had a fixation with cross dressing especially guys since the beginning. Recently I watched videos on how evil Oprah is and how she tried to pimp out Kevin Hart to Quincy Jones back around 05. Anyway if I'm not mistaken it was Chappelle that pointed out how Oprah really is and how producers have always pretty much forced black actors to do at least one scene/character/episode in drag. It really is a sick disturbing industry.
