On GB, is it the sellers job to know the law in every state or is the buyers job to know the laws of his state and buy accordingly? Curious...

As a sailor I do due diligence in reading the laws in the 'buyer's jurisdiction' to make sure the transaction is 'legal.' California is pretty easy to ship to contrary to what most would have you believe. 33 million+ potential customers.
