I think I caught it from my son when the school told me about his close contact with someone who had it.

Had an unusual sore throat for just one day, it was like a sharp pain out of nowhere that I couldn't recreate myself. Drinking scotch didn't make it worse and it only lasted just the day. I try to keep up with my vitamins & eat healthy, so I think that may have helped.
