...than 30 feet up a tree in the deer woods. I got my 67 yr old rifle; I got my brother Gadgetsrfun across the holler and our 86 year old Daddy in a ground blind over the hill!

I 'spose this life could be a might bit better... But somebody is gonna have to 'splain to me how that's possible!

I had one laying like that right at the base of my tree once. It was a little spike. Stayed there for almost two hours while his sister and mother foraged around for acorns well after dark. I finally had to drop my water bottle by him to get him to vacate so I could climb down!

Thought some about jumping on him and riding him to the edge of the woods... but those damn spikes are sharp dontcha know!
