I get what you mean about every fight not being a gun fight, but at no point do I want anything to be fair in an actual life or death scenario

If it’s a “life or death scenario”, I’m assuming that you mean that you are being attacked by an aggressor, you feel your life is in danger, and you’re in Georgia. If so, then deadly force is applicable to that situation. For most folks, that means using a firearm.

A Gunfight is a situation where both the Good Guy and the Bad Guy have a firearm.

A Shooting is where the Good Guy has a gun and the Bad Guy has a non-firearm weapon.

A gun isn’t the solution to every altercation. You need to be skilled in other tactics and techniques in addition to firearms.

I have taken a knife away from someone who was trying to cut me. I did get stabbed in the hand doing this, but I did get it away from him and kicked his a$$. I wasn't armed at the time, a lesson I remember well.
