If I recall correctly, this event is designed to mimic actual battles that took place. Simulated 50 cal. machine gun fire, tannerite explosions, using radios to call in support - very intense, very cool stuff!

The struggle of Legion starts even before registration.
Registration for Legion will be June 13 at 11AM ET .... The afternoon shooters meeting at SC Gun Run starts at 11:30AM so we have a little bit of time to sign up via our phones. Hopefully, we can get a photo of everyone trying to register at the same time.
For the morning runners, Matt Stennett wrote on the Legion page: If you'll be on the course when registration opens but want in, message me BEFORE SATURDAY and I'll figure something out. I'll be checking Ellis' match results for your name before I approve your registration though.

Please forgive the noob question - I'm completely new to this, but pretty intrigued!! I live less than an hour from Covington - are spectators allowed? If so, are there actually places to watch from, or is the course so spread out that you can't really see much? Would love to come and see what it's all about, see what people are running, etc...
