Never heard of it, what’s it about

Big corporation makes/bands superheroes into a group. Trouble is most of the supes are not nice folks. The speedy one kills a guys fiancee and said guy ends up joining a group of regular Joe's to bring down the supes.

The lead superhero was in a series before this called Banshee. Fantastic tv.

Never heard of it, what’s it about

It reminded me a lot of Watchmen, in that most of these 'supes' are as screwed up, entitled and obnoxious as you would expect a normal person with those kinds of powers to be.

The 'superstars' (aka The Seven) are basically owned by a corporation like music stars used to be, for PR value and merch tie-ins.

The first season had a ton of different twists and plots lines, but it mainly followed a 'new' supe, a small town girl who was naive but decent, and her problems adjusting to being a member of The Seven.

I really can't say too much else because 'spoilers', but it and The Expanse are probably the best new shows out there.
